NBA YoungBoy has revealed that his new album, All Dogs Go to Heaven, is expected to arrive before his 27th birthday on October 20. The announcement came during a recent interview with Funny Marco, giving fans their clearest update yet on the rapper’s next full-length project following a year marked by both new music and concerning health revelations.
Speaking casually during the conversation, YoungBoy confirmed his release plans by saying, “I think I’m going to release my album before my birthday,” before adding, “All I know is just it seems like a lot of women are against me right now.” While he stopped short of confirming an exact release date, the interviewer floated October 2 as a possible target, though YoungBoy neither confirmed nor denied the speculation.
The announcement is significant because it follows recent comments suggesting music is no longer his primary focus. In another portion of the interview, the Baton Rouge rapper revealed that doctors told him the left side of his heart was swollen, prompting him to reassess both his health and career.
“Music is not something I’m focused on,” YoungBoy admitted when discussing his future. “The doctor told me the left side of my heart was swollen. That explains the music, though.”
Those remarks sparked concern across social media, especially after the rapper suggested he may have only one or two albums left before stepping away from recording. Although he has built a reputation as one of hip-hop’s most prolific artists, his release schedule has noticeably slowed throughout 2026 compared to previous years.
Even so, YoungBoy has remained active. In June, he released ML2, following Slime Cry earlier in the year. Both projects reinforced his relentless work ethic, even if they didn’t produce the blockbuster commercial performances that accompanied some of his earlier releases.
