Young Thug & YSL’s “Eaters” has undergone a notable change just days after the release of Slime Language 3, with Yeat’s verse quietly removed from the song. The original version featured Yeat alongside Travis Scott, Future and YSL’s Tezzus, but the streaming version now credits only Travis and Future as outside guests.
The change was first reported on August 31, when fans noticed that Yeat’s contribution was no longer present on “Eaters,” the eighth track on Young Thug and YSL’s sprawling 41-song compilation. According to a report from Kurrco, another artist featured on the record allegedly gave Thug an ultimatum: remove their verse or remove Yeat’s.
No artist involved has publicly confirmed who issued the ultimatum. Online speculation has largely pointed toward Travis Scott, although that theory remains unconfirmed and neither Travis nor Young Thug has addressed the situation.
The speculation has gained traction because this would not be the first time a Yeat collaboration connected to Travis’ circle has disappeared. Yeat previously appeared on “Trip Out” with Sheck Wes on a deluxe version of JACKBOYS 2, but that track was later removed as well.
Fans have also connected the situation to Yeat’s March 2026 album ADL. The project included a brief appearance from Kylie Jenner, who delivered a part as King Kylie on “Let King Tonka Talk.”
Yeat himself appeared to respond to the speculation without taking the situation seriously. After reports of the change circulated, the rapper posted an Instagram Story containing only a laughing emoji.
The original version of “Eaters” had been one of the more anticipated collaborations on Slime Language 3. Young Thug had previewed an early version during an Instagram Live in May 2025, while Yeat reportedly recorded his contribution only about four days before the album’s eventual release. Future’s verse arrived on the night of August 27, just hours before the planned drop.
That release itself was anything but straightforward. Slime Language 3 was initially expected at midnight on August 28, but the project failed to appear on streaming services at the scheduled time. Thug later told fans, “Few changes sorry for the wait,” before the compilation finally arrived several hours later with 41 tracks.
The album continues the Slime Language series following 2018’s original installment and 2021’s Slime Language 2, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 113,000 equivalent album units. The third chapter puts considerable focus on YSL’s newer roster, including Tezzus, 1300SAINT, diamond*, iyrus, Biggs money, Sk8star and Lil Unky, while bringing in heavyweight collaborators such as Lil Baby, Quavo, Trippie Redd, Mariah the Scientist, Travis and Future.
