ADÉLA is quickly becoming one of pop’s biggest breakout stars of 2026. Less than three weeks after its release, Ain’t In LA” has evolved from a promising new single into a genuine global viral hit, fueled by TikTok, surging Spotify streams and a historic first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100.

The momentum reached another milestone earlier this week when Ain’t In LA” debuted at No. 85 on the Billboard Hot 100. The achievement gives ADÉLA her first-ever entry on the chart while making her the first Slovak artist in history to appear on the Hot 100, a landmark moment for both the singer and Slovakia’s music industry.

Following the chart announcement, ADÉLA shared an emotional message thanking fans for turning one of her most personal songs into her breakthrough hit. “We’re charting for the first time… I couldn’t be more excited that it’s Ain’t In LA because this song just means the most to me,” she said in a video celebrating the accomplishment. Calling it “a unifying pop song,” the 22-year-old singer expressed gratitude that listeners around the world had connected with its message.

The song’s streaming growth tells an equally impressive story. On Spotify’s Daily Global chart dated August 11, “Ain’t In LA” climbed to a new peak of No. 56 after earning 1.738 million streams in a single day. The steady daily increases suggest the track is still building momentum rather than reaching its ceiling.

TikTok has become the engine behind much of that success. In just over two weeks, “Ain’t In LA” has generated more than 433,000 videos on the platform, transforming a simple lyric into one of the summer’s biggest user-generated trends. Creators have embraced the format, “Not everyone can be in LA, someone’s gotta hold it down in (city),” celebrating hometown pride from cities across the world instead of aspiring to Los Angeles.

The trend has expanded well beyond everyday users. ADÉLA joined the challenge herself, while artists and creators including Zara Larsson, Jake Shane and Charli D’Amelio have also participated, exposing the song to millions of additional viewers and accelerating its reach across multiple audiences.

Another factor driving conversation has been the song’s unexpected connection to Miley Cyrus’ 2013 smash “We Can’t Stop.” After weeks of fan speculation, ADÉLA confirmed that the familiar voice heard on both songs belongs to Theron Thomas, whose vocal contributions helped define Miley’s hit. While “Ain’t In LA” contains no sample or interpolation of “We Can’t Stop,” the shared creative collaborator explains why listeners immediately recognized a similar energy.

Beyond the viral numbers, the song resonates because of its message. Rather than portraying Los Angeles as the only destination where dreams can come true, ADÉLA celebrates ambition wherever people call home. Inspired by her mother’s story and photographs of Western pop posters secretly brought into Slovakia decades ago, the single offers a perspective that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.

With her debut album PRIMA scheduled for release on September 4 through Capitol Records, ADÉLA now enters album season with genuine momentum.
