Bruno Mars has confirmed that his creative partnership with ROSÉ is far from over. In a new Billboard cover story celebrating ROSÉ’s historic year, the Grammy-winning superstar revealed that the two have already recorded additional music together—and they are simply waiting for the right moment to release it. Mars, who joined the interview with an unexpected cameo, described their unreleased track as a song they “love,” adding that the timing of its arrival is still under discussion. “I won’t say the title… We’re just trying to figure out when, or how,” he said.

The update follows the global success of “APT.,” their 2024 collaboration that became a defining pop breakthrough. Mars explained that he was immediately drawn to the track’s concept and to ROSÉ’s distinctive tone, noting that her voice gave the hook an unmistakable magic. He also praised the cultural specificity embedded in the song, saying he was impressed by how she approached the collaboration with a sense of identity rather than defaulting to a generic pop formula.

ROSÉ’s Billboard cover arrives at a moment of extraordinary momentum. Earlier this month, she became the first K-pop act in history to land a song in the top ten of the Billboard Year-End Hot 100, with “APT.” finishing at No. 9 for 2025. The achievement reflects the track’s extraordinary global reach, including its status as Apple Music’s No. 1 most-streamed song of 2025. The single dominated charts across continents, led the Billboard Global 200, and secured major wins at the 2025 MAMA Awards and MTV VMAs.

Released as the lead single from her debut album Rosie, “APT.” redefined expectations for ROSÉ’s solo career and expanded her influence far beyond K-pop. The BLACKPINK vocalist holds major nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards—including Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance—and recently delivered a celebrated performance at the Grammy Museum.
