In the second half of 2024, ROSÉ and Bruno Mars delivered one of the year’s biggest collaborations with the smash hit “APT.” The song became an instant success, topping Apple Music charts in 61 countries and making history as the first K-Pop song to achieve this feat. Now, three months after its release, “APT.” has set another milestone—this time on YouTube. The music video has surpassed 900 million views in just 93 days, becoming the fastest by a K-Pop act to reach this mark and the first to do so in under 100 days. This breaks a decade-long record previously held by PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” which achieved the same milestone in 144 days. Overall, “APT.” is now the fifth-fastest music video in history to hit 900 million views.

Released on October 18th as the lead single from ROSÉ’s debut album Rosie, “APT.” continues to achieve remarkable success. Beyond the YouTube milestone, the song has amassed over 930 million streams on Spotify and topped the Billboard Global charts for an impressive 11 non-consecutive weeks. It is also certified Platinum in the U.S. and recently earned a Guinness World Record for making ROSÉ the first female K-Pop artist to enter the Billboard Radio Songs Top 10.
