Country music takes over the desert once again as Stagecoach Festival 2026 officially kicks off today, Friday, April 24, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. Just days after Coachella wrapped on the same grounds, the focus shifts to boots, guitars, and a packed Day 1 schedule led by a major headlining performance from Cody Johnson.
Friday’s lineup reflects the genre’s current breadth. Rising names like Bailey Zimmerman and Nate Smith bring radio-ready country-pop energy to the Mane Stage, while acts such as The Red Clay Strays and Larkin Poe lean into blues-driven instrumentation and Southern rock textures.
Earlier in the day, Ella Langley is set to deliver one of the most anticipated afternoon sets. Her sophomore album Dandelion has already produced the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Choosin’ Texas,” positioning her as one of the fastest-rising names on the lineup. Fans can also expect to hear her new collaboration “I Can’t Love You Anymore” alongside Morgan Wallen.
Beyond the Mane Stage, the festival continues to expand its footprint. Late-night programming returns through the Horseshoe, where Diplo anchors high-energy crossover sets that stretch well past midnight. Elsewhere, spaces like the Toyota Music Den offer more intimate performances, giving emerging artists room to connect with audiences outside the main-stage scale.
With headliners including Lainey Wilson and Post Malone still to come across the weekend, Day 1 sets the pace for what promises to be another high-attendance edition in Indio.
