It’s been four long years since we first spoke with Bliss My Heart. At the time, the French singer was exploring her electro-dark pop sound, pouring a mix of emotions into her music. Now, four years later, music still comes from deep within her heart, but life experiences have made her a more mature artist. “You can’t change people, no one will save you but yourself,” she reflects. Over the past 18 months, she took a break from music to explore new places and meet new people, traveling across the United States, Mexico, and Europe. Now, Bliss My Heart is back with her new single, “Suffer Well.” Released on January 24, the song delves into her experiences with dark days. “Don’t give up, because even when the sky is black, some days will be more pink,” she says. Looking ahead, she promises a new single later this year but also hopes to continue traveling.

In your first interview with us in 2021, you described your music as ‘electro dark pop’ and ‘a mix of many emotions, love, and various influences.’ Four years later, how do you feel you have evolved as an artist?
My music still comes from the bottom of my heart, with the deep love I have in life in general. I learned many things since 2021, I think I just evolved by understanding things about life like: you can’t change people, no one will save you but yourself, protect yourself from the madness of the world, and help people who respect and love you. I think I’m the same but more spiritual and more rational.
Over the past year, you took a break from music and traveled around the world. How has this experience shaped your life and journey?
I had the chance to travel to all the USA, Mexico and 20 countries of Europe. I think when you discover some others cultures and peoples, you become a better person. Now Im so grateful to have friends everywhere. My mind is so more open and that helped to find new inspiration for my life and for my music.
Can you tell us about your new single “Suffer Well”?
My new single “Suffer Well” was released last January 24. After living a dark and complicated time in my life I wanted to take time for myself and my music. I found this old demo which was pretty goth. I contacted my friend and producer Cliff Estatof (Space Call) and he helped me to produce the music and he killed it in a more dark wave way.
What is the meaning behind this song?
I wanted to give my personal experience about living dark days; don’t give up, because even when the sky is black, some days will be more pink. Just focus on yourself, believe in your angels, take the power, it’s gonna be ok. It’s a faith and resilience message I wanted to give through this song.

What’s next for Bliss My Heart?
I’m still working on the promotion of “Suffer Well”. I will write a new single with Cliff for this year. I also hope I’ll visit some country. Crossed fingers.
What is a message you would like to give through your music and why?
Be independent, be yourself, don’t let toxic people around you. Believe in the angels above you, because we are not alone.
Is there anything else you’d like people to know?
No, I think they know more about me and the way I see the things with “Suffer Well.” I just want to thanks all the fans and friends for the huge support all around the world.
