BTS returned to the global stage on April 9, 2026, launching their ARIRANG World Tour at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, South Korea. Performing through heavy rain, the group delivered a high-concept, 360-degree in-the-round production that marked their first full-scale tour in more than three years.

Designed as their most ambitious run to date, the ARIRANG World Tour spans over 85 shows across 34 cities in 23 countries through 2027. The opening night set the tone with a tightly choreographed, stadium-sized spectacle that balanced new material with career-defining hits. A rotating stage and immersive visuals placed fans at the center of the performance, reinforcing the scale of the group’s return.

New-era tracks dominated the setlist. BTS opened with “Hooligan” and “Aliens,” immediately signaling a forward-facing direction tied to their latest album rollout. Momentum continued with “Swim,” which previously reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Transitions between songs were executed with precision, most notably the seamless bridge from “Like Animals” into “Fake Love,” blending eras without breaking the show’s pacing.

Catalog staples remained central to the experience. “Butter” and “Dynamite” provided late-show peaks, while performance-driven cuts like “Mic Drop” and “Fire” amplified the live energy.
