BTS have reached another historic milestone with their ARIRANG World Tour, becoming the first pop group in history to generate more than $500 million in ticket sales from a single tour. According to Billboard Boxscore data, the group surpassed the mark following a blockbuster August 2026 run that generated $171.7 million from 12 shows and 801,000 tickets sold.
The milestone places BTS seventh among all groups to cross the $500 million threshold for a single tour, but they are the first pop group to achieve the feat. The latest Billboard report shows just how quickly the ARIRANG World Tour has scaled since launching in April, with the seven-member group continuing to fill stadiums across North America ahead of the tour’s Latin American and 2027 dates.

BTS began the ARIRANG World Tour on April 9 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, marking their first full-group stadium tour since all seven members completed their mandatory military service. Supporting ARIRANG, their first studio album following their individual activities, the tour has expanded into a global stadium production spanning more than 88 shows across 34 cities and 23 countries.
August proved particularly significant for the tour’s financial performance. BTS generated $171.7 million across 12 concerts while moving 801,000 tickets, pushing the overall gross beyond the $500 million mark. The figures add another commercial benchmark to a comeback that has already produced multiple venue records.
Three shows at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium generated $40.7 million, while four concerts at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, brought in $49.5 million from 246,000 tickets. The group also sold 158,000 tickets across two nights at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, generating $31.8 million.
Other stops have delivered similarly striking numbers. Two shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough grossed $28.6 million, while BTS sold more than 141,000 tickets across two nights at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium. In London, the group performed two concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, drawing 65,000 fans per show and setting an attendance record for the venue.
The scale of ARIRANG extends beyond traditional stadium attendance. BTS have continued to bring selected performances to cinemas through live-viewing events, including the Goyang opening concert, Tokyo Dome performance and Busan anniversary show. South American fans will also receive cinema broadcasts of the tour, with live viewing events scheduled for Buenos Aires on October 24 and São Paulo on October 30.
The tour’s Latin American leg begins October 2 in Bogotá after the group’s current break, before the schedule continues through 2027. With more stadium dates still ahead, the $500 million milestone could become only one chapter in the commercial story of ARIRANG.
