JENNIE is giving fans an extra reason to preorder the physical edition of her upcoming Fallen Angel EP. While the digital release arrives with three songs on August 28, the CD edition will include three additional tracks that will not appear on the standard digital version.
The BLACKPINK star announced the new details on August 23 through her Odd Atelier label, revealing that the Fallen Angel CD will feature “sweettooth,” “lockitdown” and “Face” as exclusive tracks. Preorders for the physical edition open Tuesday, August 25, at 10 p.m. EDT.
That means fans who want to hear all six songs will need to preorder or purchase the CD version. The standard digital EP remains a three-track release featuring “FALLEN ANGEL,” “HEAVEN” and “Less than a Lover.”
The three exclusive songs effectively expand Fallen Angel beyond its initial tracklist, giving the physical edition its own incentive for collectors and dedicated fans. JENNIE has not indicated that “sweettooth,” “lockitdown” or “Face” will receive separate digital releases, making the CD the currently announced way to access the additional material.
Fallen Angel was first announced earlier this week following months of anticipation surrounding JENNIE’s next solo project. The EP is described as coming “from JENNIE’s very personal place in her heart and the truest self-expression,” with the singer presenting the release as “A gift from JENNIE, with love.”
The project follows Ruby, JENNIE’s debut solo studio album, which arrived in 2025 and established a new commercial benchmark for the singer. The album debuted inside the top 10 in 19 countries, sold more than 660,000 copies in its first week in South Korea and earned triple-platinum certification. Ruby also delivered five entries on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Like JENNIE” reached No. 5 on the Billboard Global 200.
Her next era has already been building throughout the summer. JENNIE previewed unreleased material during a three-month festival run that included Governors Ball, Roskilde, Open’er, Mad Cool, Lollapalooza and Summer Sonic 2026, giving fans early exposure to songs that are now taking shape as part of Fallen Angel.
“Less than a Lover” has been particularly successful ahead of the EP’s release. Written and composed by JENNIE, the track opened with 2.261 million Spotify streams, reached No. 1 on iTunes in at least 27 countries and topped YouTube’s worldwide Trending Music Videos chart.
