JENNIE made history at Roskilde Festival on Friday (July 3), becoming the first Korean and K-pop artist to headline the legendary Danish event. The BLACKPINK star capped off the milestone with a career-spanning set that mixed Ruby favorites, global hits, and multiple unreleased songs, while also confirming that 100% of her performance fee will be donated to support Roskilde Festival’s humanitarian and cultural initiatives.
Hours before taking over the iconic Orange Stage, JENNIE was spotted in the crowd watching Addison Rae’s afternoon performance. Once it was her turn, she opened with “Filter,” immediately establishing the sleek, high-energy atmosphere that carried through the entire show.
Much of the concert centered on her debut solo album, Ruby. Throughout the performance, she delivered fan favorites including “Mantra,” “Start a War,” “Handlebars,” “Love Hangover,” “Seoul City,” “ExtraL,” “with the IE,” “Starlight,” and the explosive closing anthem “like JENNIE.”
The biggest surprises came during the second half of the show. JENNIE continued teasing her next chapter by performing three unreleased tracks: “Lock It Down,” “Heaven,” and “Little Less.” All three songs were previously introduced during her headline-level Governors Ball performance in New York in June.
Beyond the music, JENNIE used the occasion to support a larger cause. It’s confirmed that all proceeds from her Roskilde Festival appearance will be donated, continuing the festival’s longstanding tradition of funding humanitarian projects around the world, including initiatives supporting Palestine, Congo, and other regions in need.
