JENNIE added another milestone to her solo career on Friday (July 3), becoming the first Korean and K-pop artist ever to headline Roskilde Festival. Performing on the iconic Orange Stage, the BLACKPINK star delivered one of the festival’s most anticipated sets while also giving fans another glimpse into her next musical era.
The historic performance came just hours after JENNIE was spotted enjoying Addison Rae’s afternoon set, showing support for one of pop’s fastest-rising stars before taking over the festival herself. Once onstage, she wasted no time launching into “Filter,” immediately setting the tone for a performance built around the success of her debut solo album, Ruby.
Across the set, JENNIE moved through many of the record’s standout tracks, including “Mantra,” “Handlebars,” “ExtraL,” and several other fan favorites. Backed by striking visuals, dynamic choreography, and a live festival atmosphere, the performance balanced polished production with the confidence that has defined her solo run throughout 2026.
Beyond celebrating Ruby, the concert also offered another preview of what’s next. After first teasing new material during her headline-level appearance at Governors Ball in New York last month, JENNIE once again performed the unreleased songs “Heaven” and “Little Less.”
Friday’s appearance extends an extraordinary run for the singer. In June, JENNIE made Governors Ball history as the first K-pop soloist to perform in a headline-level slot at the New York festival, becoming only the second K-pop act overall to headline the event after Stray Kids. That performance also featured multiple unreleased songs and followed a breakthrough year in which Ruby helped her become the first female K-pop solo artist to place three songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100, while her remix of Tame Impala’s “Dracula” earned her first top-10 hit on the chart.
JENNIE’s festival run is far from over. She heads to Poland on Saturday (July 4) for another major appearance at Open’er Festival.
