LISA has opened her PRESS PLAY era with a massive YouTube debut. “SaWaDiKa” has generated 70.8 million views in its first 24 hours, making it the biggest opening day for a music video by any artist in 2026 and one of the biggest debuts in YouTube history.

The performance puts LISA in rare company. “SaWaDiKa” is now the second-biggest 24-hour debut for a soloist ever, trailing only her own “LALISA,” which opened with 73.6 million views in 2021 and remains the record-holder for the biggest opening day by a solo artist.

With both videos surpassing 70 million views, LISA has also become the first soloist in history to have multiple music videos cross the 70 million mark in less than 24 hours. She now holds the top two soloist positions for biggest 24-hour music video debuts on YouTube.

“SaWaDiKa” also marks the first music video to surpass 50 million views in a single day since Shakira and Bizarrap’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” which achieved the feat more than three years ago. The result gives LISA one of the strongest visual openings of 2026 while extending a record she established with “LALISA.”

The only videos ahead of “LALISA” and “SaWaDiKa” on the all-time 24-hour debut ranking are largely group releases. BTS’ “Butter” leads with 108.2 million views, followed by “Dynamite” with 101.1 million. BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” ranks third with 90.4 million, while “How You Like That” sits at No. 4 with 86.3 million. “Ice Cream” featuring Selena Gomez follows at No. 5 with 79 million, while BTS’ “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey ranks sixth with 74.6 million.

Released on September 3, “SaWaDiKa” launches the rollout for LISA’s six-track EP PRESS PLAY, arriving October 23 through RCA Records under exclusive license from Lloud Co. The song takes its title from “Sawatdee ka,” the traditional Thai greeting, putting LISA’s Thai heritage at the center of her new solo chapter.

The track combines bass-heavy hip-hop and trap production with rapid-fire rap verses, sharp synth accents and a rhythmic hook. Its visual campaign pushes the concept further, incorporating Thai-inspired imagery alongside high-fashion styling and choreography, including LISA in a black feathered look with a platinum blonde bob, golden headdresses and metallic streetwear.

The new milestone comes after the success of LISA’s 2025 debut solo album Alter Ego, which opened at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. The album featured “Rockstar,” “New Woman” with Rosalía and “Born Again” with Doja Cat and RAYE, establishing LISA as a major solo force beyond BLACKPINK.
