SEVENTEEN have officially renewed their contracts as a full 13-member group, reaffirming their long-standing “one team” identity. The announcement came on April 5 during the encore concert of their world tour in Incheon, where the group confirmed they would continue with Pledis Entertainment.
The reveal took place at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, closing out the “New” world tour that began in September 2025. Across 14 cities, including Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Japan, Singapore, Bangkok, and Bulakan, the tour drew over 800,000 fans in attendance.
This marks SEVENTEEN’s second full-group renewal following their early contract extension in July 2021, a move that had already set them apart within the K-pop industry. Choosing to renew again ahead of their 11th anniversary on May 26 reinforces a pattern of stability rarely seen at this stage of an idol group’s lifecycle. Each of the 13 members—spanning the Hip-Hop, Vocal, and Performance units—has played a role in maintaining that cohesion, both creatively and structurally.
The announcement was woven into the emotional arc of the encore set. Opening with “Thunder” and “HBD,” the group introduced “Son Goko” as part of their latest mini album rollout, before transitioning into an “Eternal”-themed finale.
Commercially, SEVENTEEN enter this new contract period from a position of dominance. Their 2023 EP FML surpassed 6 million copies, ranking among the best-selling K-pop releases in history, while Seventeenth Heaven extended their chart presence globally. The fifth studio album Happy Burstday, released on May 26, 2025, further cemented their reach with strong international debuts, including a No. 2 peak on the Billboard 200.
