The Path to This Is For
TWICE began teasing the new era on May 19, releasing a mysterious teaser video titled Intro: Four. The visual featured all nine members in matching blue skirts, each embroidered with the word “Four”—a nod to their fourth Korean album.
Just two days later, the group officially announced the album’s title and release date. This Is For comes hot on the heels of Strategy, their 14th mini album, which dropped in December 2024. In recent days, that project has seen renewed interest on Spotify, with the title track re-entering the platform’s daily chart.
Tracklist
This Is For includes 14 tracks, with no singles released prior to the album. The project features five sub-unit songs—similar to those found in Formula of Love—allowing the members to explore different genres and vocal dynamics. Notably, in late June, TWICE also revealed nine solo tracks, one for each member, though none were included on the album—suggesting that more individual content may be released later.
