Stray Kids made history at Governors Ball 2026 on Saturday night (June 6), becoming the first K-pop act to headline the New York festival. Despite severe weather concerns forcing organizers to move their performance several hours earlier, the group delivered a relentless 75-minute set that transformed Flushing Meadows Corona Park into a K-pop celebration.

Rain and strong winds loomed over Queens throughout the day, prompting Governors Ball officials to adjust the schedule and announce that Stray Kids would perform from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with the festival ending immediately afterward.

The group wasted no time launching into the performance, opening with “Topline” before moving directly into “S-Class.” From there, the set balanced chart-topping singles, fan favorites, and special arrangements created specifically for the festival environment.

The performance arrives during a particularly dominant period for Stray Kids. Earlier this year, the group extended its historic Billboard 200 achievements, collected four trophies at the Japan Gold Disc Awards, and saw KARMA earn Album Daesang recognition while also debuting at No. 2 on the IFPI Global Album Sales Chart.
