Stray Kids are officially entering a new era. The group has announced the upcoming release of “RUN IT,” arriving on June 24, 2026, at 1 PM KST, alongside a 8-track project titled “THIS & THAT,” scheduled for August 7, while also teasing a new world tour under the title.
The announcement arrived through a 51-second cinematic teaser that immediately sparked excitement across social media. Packed with dramatic close-ups, high-intensity choreography, and striking visuals, the clip showcases the members performing in industrial interiors and desert landscapes while dressed in black-and-white outfits. The teaser offers no major plot details but establishes a darker and more cinematic atmosphere than many of the group’s recent releases.
The comeback marks Stray Kids’ first major music release since Do It, their second mixtape, which arrived on November 21, 2025. Released through JYP Entertainment and Republic Records, the project became one of the biggest commercial successes of the group’s career. The mixtape surpassed one million Spotify pre-saves before release and sold 1.49 million copies on its first day, eventually reaching 2.21 million copies within its opening week.
Commercial momentum extended far beyond South Korea. Do It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making Stray Kids the first act in history to debut their first eight chart entries atop the U.S. albums chart. The project moved 295,000 album-equivalent units during its opening week.
The new announcement also arrives after a landmark month for the group. On June 6, Stray Kids became the first K-pop act ever to headline Governors Ball in New York.
