Stray Kids are on the verge of another historic Billboard 200 milestone. Early projections from Hits Daily Double indicate that the group’s new mini album THIS & THAT is headed for a No. 1 debut with approximately 335,000 equivalent album units in the United States, positioning it for the biggest opening week of their career.
If the projection holds when Billboard publishes its official chart, Stray Kids will become the first act in history to debut each of their first nine charting albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The achievement would extend one of the most remarkable streaks in the chart’s 69-year history.
The projected 335,000-unit debut would comfortably surpass the opening of 2025’s Do It, which launched at No. 1 with 295,000 equivalent album units. That release already established Stray Kids as the first artist across all genres to see their first eight charting albums debut atop the Billboard 200. THIS & THAT now appears poised to raise that unprecedented record even further.
The strong forecast follows another impressive week for the group on streaming platforms. THIS & THAT debuted with more than 12.8 million first-day Spotify streams, becoming the biggest opening by a fourth-generation K-pop act on the platform in 2026. Across all K-pop releases this year, only BTS’ ARIRANG and BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE posted larger first-day totals.
Individual tracks also made an immediate impact. The title song “This & That” opened at No. 31 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart with 2.3 million streams, while “After You,” “FARMING,” “RUN IT,” and “I Do” all landed on the global ranking. Last this week, the mini album also climbed to No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Albums Chart, and its music video reached the top of YouTube’s global Trending Music Videos ranking.
Should THIS & THAT officially debut at No. 1, Stray Kids would also extend their own records for the most Billboard 200 No. 1 albums by a K-pop act and by any group this century. Their remarkable streak began with ODDINARY in 2022 and has continued uninterrupted through MAXIDENT, (5-STAR), ROCK-STAR, ATE, Karma, Do It, and now potentially THIS & THAT.
