G-Dragon’s third full-length album, “Übermensch,” is a bold and thought-provoking project that showcases his artistic evolution. Released via Galaxy Corporation and EMPIRE, the album takes its name from Friedrich Nietzsche’s philosophical concept, which describes an individual who rises above societal expectations to forge their own path. This theme is deeply embedded in the album, as G-Dragon explores personal growth, resilience, and self-empowerment. It marks his first release since 2017’s Kwon Ji Yong and his first project after departing from YG Entertainment.

Musically, Übermensch deviates from mainstream K-pop trends, embracing a more experimental sound. The double title tracks, “Too Bad” and “Drama,” are accompanied by visually striking music videos featuring G-Dragon with vibrant orange hair and a special cameo by aespa’s Karina. Notably, the LP includes guest appearances from Anderson .Paak, Taeyang, and Daesung.

Without further ado, check out InMusic’s ranking of all eight tracks from G-Dragon’s comeback album, Übermensch.
