It’s time to refresh your playlist with some exciting new releases!

June 2025 closes out on a high note. The last New Music Friday of the month brings a wave of major releases. Opening our weekly roundup is Lorde with her highly anticipated fourth studio album, Virgin. The album marks the singer’s first full-length project since 2021’s Solar Power and was described by Lorde herself as “written in blood.” The LP features 11 tracks, including the previously released singles “What Was That,” “Man of the Year,” and “Hammer.”

KATSEYE doubles down with their second EP, Beautiful Chaos. After establishing themselves as one of the most promising rising acts with their debut EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), the girl group returns less than a year later and has already captured attention with the first two singles from the new EP: “Gnarly,” which entered several global charts, and “Gabriela,” which continues to climb on streaming platforms.

In a surprise move, Alex Warren enlisted none other than BLACKPINK’s Rosé for his new single, “On My Mind.” The song follows the success of his breakout hit “Ordinary” and his recent release “Bloodline.” Released via Atlantic Records, “On My Mind” will appear on Alex’s upcoming album You’ll Be Alright, Kid, slated for release on July 18.
