Ariana Grande will release her seventh studio album this Friday, March 8, through Republic Records.
“Eternal Sunshine” Tracklist
To build anticipation for the album, Ariana Grande chose to unveil the official tracklist in separate reveals. The complete list was revealed just a week ago, along with some lyrics. “Eternal Sunshine” features no guest artists, except for Ariana’s grandmother Nonna, who appears on the 13th track, “Ordinary Things.” The album’s lead single, “Yes, And?,” was released on January 12, accompanied by a music video. The song was a massive success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning the title of January’s Song of the Month from our community. A remix featuring Mariah Carey was later released. The second official single, “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” will be released this Friday, along with a teaser for the music video.

“Eternal Sunshine” boasts six cover variants, each depicting Ariana in different poses. The Grammy-winning musician revealed that her aim was to “capture the emotional ups and downs of the album.”
Title’s Meaning
Speculation about the album title intensified when an Easter egg appeared in the opening scene of the music video for “Yes, And?” A red card with the acronym “AG7” revealed the coordinates of Montauk, New York, one of the main filming locations of the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
When Did Ariana Start Recording “Eternal Sunshine”?
The exact start date of the recording and creative process behind the album is not yet known. However, in a video posted on YouTube, Ariana revealed that she began working on “Eternal Sunshine” last September, after completing filming for Wicked, in which she portrays Glinda. The first hints about the album were later released in the last three months of the past year.
Who Produced the Album?
For production, Ariana Grande enlisted her longtime producer Max Martin, who produced 11 of the 13 tracks, along with Ilya Salmanzade, Shintaro Yasuda, Nick Lee, Oscar Görres, and Davidior.
Music Genre
Although not much is known about the music genre, according to Republic Records executives, “Eternal Sunshine” is primarily a house record with a touch of R&B.
