Bailey Spinn is back with her first release of 2026. The alt-rock singer has dropped her new single “homicide,” a blistering anti-Valentine’s Day anthem released on February 13. Loud, confrontational, and sharply melodic, the track reframes heartbreak as something combustible rather than delicate. For Spinn, emotional burnout becomes fuel.

Co-written and produced by Matt Squire—known for his work with Panic! At The Disco and Ariana Grande—“homicide” balances razor-edged guitars with an arena-sized hook. The production hits hard without drowning out Spinn’s voice, which cuts through the distortion with pure defiance. The song rejects the clichés that dominate February playlists. Instead of longing or regret, Spinn leans into raw confrontation, transforming romantic disillusionment into catharsis.

The single follows a strong run for the rising artist. In 2025, Spinn delivered “critical” and “fear of going out,” two tracks that sharpened her identity as a modern rock voice steeped in Y2K textures. Her debut album loser, released in March 2025, pushed that vision further, generating millions of streams—including more than 10 million for the standout “happy ending.” The record blended punchy pop-rock structures with themes of self-empowerment and vulnerability.

Her high-energy momentum continues into live shows this spring. Spinn joins Dark Divine on a North American tour, bringing her high-voltage set to venues across the U.S. and Canada. The run kicks off March 4 at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, before heading to Asbury Park, Philadelphia’s Fillmore, and other cities, wrapping March 13 in Lakewood, Ohio.

For now, fans can stream Bailey Spinn’s explosive new single “homicide” on all major platforms.
