BIA is celebrating strength, confidence, and global sound in her long-awaited debut album Bianca — and she’s doing it with help from two of music’s most iconic women: Nicki Minaj and Shakira.
The Boston-born rapper officially released Bianca via Epic Records on October 10. Among its standout tracks is “TRIFLING,” a fiery anthem that samples Nicki Minaj’s unforgettable speech from her 2015 Tidal performance. The clip, which went viral for its unapologetic tone, serves as the backbone of the track’s message. A few days ago, BIA teased the sample, saying, “That’s my girl, I love her down and what she said there stays with me forever,” she shared. “I felt that message was to the point & let men know, I’m not a weak b*tch.”

Adding to the track’s allure, BIA samples Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie”— one of the most recognizable songs of the 21st century.
Across its 14 tracks, Bianca captures features an impressive roster of collaborators, including Ty Dolla $ign, Denzel Curry, Key Glock, A$AP Ferg, Tyler ICU, Young Miko, and Khalil Harrison. Its production blends trap, Afrobeat, Latin pop, and R&B.
