The message, preserved exactly as it was typed at the time, reads like a time capsule of teenage devotion: “~justin drew bieber… Where do I even start… 20 years ago today, the best singer and person in the world was born.. I don’t know how someone as perfect as you is possible to be alive.! You’re an amazing singer, amazing dancer, amazing drummer, Ur soo00000o SEXY!!, so sweet to Ur fans, Ur hilarious… No words can explain how much I love you!!! That full-circle narrative reached a peak on April 17, when Bieber brought Eilish onstage during his headline set at the Coachella Weekend 2. Midway through a performance of “One Less Lonely Girl,” he introduced her instead of a fan, turning a long-running concert tradition into a generational crossover.
