She described the initial struggles to find inspiration, stating, “We’d been trying to make stuff, and trying to come up with stuff, and just could not. Not creative at all.” Eilish then revealed that a breakthrough occurred when Finneas started playing the piano, leading to the spontaneous creation of the first chord.
After an engaging seven minutes discussing “What Was I Made For?”, Jimmy Fallon couldn’t resist asking for some hints about Eilish’s upcoming album. Prompted by Fallon, Eilish confirmed, “We are almost done with this new album we’re working on. So, at some point, you will know more, but I’m not going to say anymore.” This revelation has heightened anticipation for the follow-up to “Happier Than Ever,” and Billie’s word is that it’s nearly complete!
