BINI made a memorable first appearance at Summer Sonic 2026, bringing P-pop to one of Asia’s biggest music festivals with a vibrant performance in Osaka.
Taking the Mountain Stage at Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park on Friday, August 14, the eight-member group performed from approximately 2:40 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. JST as part of Summer Sonic’s landmark 25th anniversary edition. The appearance marked another significant international achievement for Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena, following their acclaimed Coachella debut earlier this year.
Summer Sonic’s opening day featured an eclectic lineup spanning rock, pop, K-pop and hip-hop across Tokyo and Osaka. While L’Arc-en-Ciel, LE SSERAFIM, Jamiroquai, BABYMETAL and The Strokes headlined the festival’s major stages, BINI represented the growing global reach of Filipino pop music with one of the day’s most anticipated afternoon performances.
Dressed in colorful, glittering outfits, the members immediately energized the crowd by opening with “Cherry on Top.” They maintained the momentum with fan favorites including “Zero Pressure,” “Out of My Head,” “Blush,” “Step Back” and “Sugar Rush,” showcasing the synchronized choreography and confident stage presence that have helped establish them as one of P-pop’s leading acts.
One of the performance’s standout moments came with “Born to Win,” which included its Japanese version for the local audience. BINI also surprised festivalgoers with a special Filipino-Japanese rendition of “Salamin, Salamin,” incorporating Japanese lyrics into one of their signature hits.
