Coachella Weekend 1 set the bar impossibly high, but the momentum isn’t slowing down. Last week was defined by historic firsts and a massive resurgence of “Biebermania.” Justin Bieber proved his staying power by dominating the global charts following his Saturday set. Since his performance, Bieber has reigned supreme on Spotify, reaching No. 1 on the Global Top Artist chart with over 100 million streams in a single day, his biggest streaming day of the year. Nostalgia hit hard as “Baby” and “Beauty and a Beat” saw triple-digit percentage surges, while new material from his album Swag took over the Spotify Daily Top 200.
Beyond the “Bieberchella” phenomenon, Weekend 1 saw Sabrina Carpenter transform the main stage into a maximalist “Sabrinawood” spectacle, while Karol G made history as the first Latina artist to headline the festival, closing out Sunday with a powerful celebration of pan-American pride.
Now, as we head into Weekend 2, the Empire Polo Club is ready for round two with a few major surprises in store.
What’s New for Weekend 2?
The biggest shake-up for the second weekend is the addition of seven-time Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves. Stepping into the Saturday slot previously held by Jack White, Musgraves is expected to bring new material from her upcoming album Middle of Nowhere to the Mojave Tent at 3:00 PM.
Other key updates for Weekend 2:
• Set Time Adjustments: Keep an eye on the Coachella app; several artists including Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G have slight shifts in their start times compared to last week.
• Quasar Stage: The new open-air electronic stage features a completely fresh lineup of extended DJ sets for Weekend 2.
Who are the Weekend 2 headliners?
Expect the headliners to refine their sets based on the viral moments of Weekend 1.

Carpenter will return with Sabrinawood, while Anyma’s Æden production will look to overcome the high winds that caused technical issues during the first weekend.

Closing the 25th anniversary, the Colombian superstar returns to the main stage.
Who else is on the lineup?
The global spirit of the festival remains strong. Acts scheduled across the weekend include KATSEYE, BINI, PinkPantheress, Labrinth, Giveon, FKA Twigs, The Strokes, Sombr, Addison Rae, and Swae Lee, among dozens more.
