Lady Gaga’s Mayhem marked a major return to her pop roots and became one of the biggest releases of 2025. Led by the dark and infectious single “Disease,” the album topped the Billboard 200 and received critical acclaim for its mix of electropop, dance, and grungy synth textures.
The Live Lounge session also doubled as part of the promotional rollout for Lovato’s upcoming ninth studio album, It’s Not That Deep, due out this Friday, October 24 via Island Records. The project marks a return to her pop beginnings after her rock-driven releases Holy Fvck (2022) and Revamped (2023).
Lovato described It’s Not That Deep as “fun, free, and unapologetically pop,” reflecting her current state of confidence and joy. The album includes the singles “Fast,” “Here All Night,” and “Kiss.” During her Live Lounge set, she also performed “Here All Night,” showcasing the sleek, upbeat energy of her new sound.
