Two major names were quietly added to the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup this weekend, as set times for the festival were released on April 5. Ed Sheeran and Weezer join the previously announced artists and will each perform daytime sets in the Mojave Tent, surprising fans just days before the event kicks off. Weezer is scheduled to play on Saturday, April 12, during the festival’s first weekend, taking the stage from 3:10 to 3:55 p.m. Ed Sheeran will perform the following Saturday, April 19, during the second weekend, with a set from 3 to 4 p.m.

While Weezer’s Coachella appearance coincides with the 30th anniversary of The Blue Album, Ed Sheeran arrives at the festival fresh off the release of his new single “Azizam,” the lead track from his upcoming album Play.

The surprise additions come after some last-minute lineup changes. FKA Twigs and Anitta both pulled out of their scheduled sets—the former citing visa issues, while the Brazilian superstar stepped down due to personal reasons. Coachella 2025 kicks off next weekend (April 11–13) and continues the following weekend (April 18–20). Headliners include Lady Gaga, Green Day, Travis Scott, and Post Malone, with other stars like Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, and Missy Elliott also lighting up the stage.
