Halsey is bringing her 2026 live ceremony to the screen. The singer has announced The Girl in the Tower, a new concert film capturing her immersive 2026 shows, which will stream globally on YouTube beginning Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The film takes its name from The Girl in the Tower – A Ceremony by Halsey, the gothic-inspired live production Halsey introduced during her European festival run this summer. The performances transformed her catalog into a theatrical experience, with the set incorporating songs from across her career, including “Experiment On Me.”
The 2026 ceremony began in June, with Halsey appearing at festivals including Rock for People in Czechia and Hurricane and Southside in Germany. Additional European open-air performances followed throughout June and July, giving the popstsr an opportunity to present the production to audiences before bringing the experience to a global audience through the concert film.
Unlike a traditional tour documentary, The Girl in the Tower is centered on the performance itself, preserving the atmosphere and visual identity of Halsey’s 2026 live shows. The announcement gives fans who experienced the ceremony in person — as well as those who could not attend — a chance to revisit the production from home.
The project arrives during a busy period for Halsey, who has continued expanding the era surrounding The Great Impersonator. Her fifth studio album was originally released in October 2024 and explored identity, mortality, parenthood, illness and artistic influence through a series of genre-inspired personas. A deluxe edition followed on May 1, 2026, expanding the album to 25 tracks and adding new material including “Carry the Weight.”
The new concert film also follows an extensive run of live performances. Halsey spent 2025 on the For My Last Trick Tour before launching the Back to Badlands Tour in October 2025, a 10th-anniversary celebration of her 2015 debut album Badlands. That trek continued through February 2026, visiting North America, Europe and Oceania.
Her 2026 festival shows took a markedly different approach, leaning into ceremony, theatricality and gothic imagery rather than presenting a conventional greatest-hits set. With The Girl in the Tower arriving globally on YouTube on Thursday, August 27, 2026, fans will soon be able to experience the 2026 ceremony from anywhere.
