Hilary Duff is officially returning to music after a decade away from the industry. The singer and actress has signed with Atlantic Records, marking the beginning of a new era in her career. Her last album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., arrived in June 2015, debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and spawning the fan-favorite single “Sparks.” Now, after years focused on acting, family life, and producing, Hilary is ready to step back into the music spotlight.

As part of her comeback, she will also be the subject of a new docuseries, offering fans an intimate look at her creative and personal journey. Directed and executive produced by Sam Wrench — the filmmaker behind Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter — the project will follow every stage of Duff’s return.

The announcement comes alongside fresh hints from Duff herself. Just minutes ago, Hilary shared studio photos on social media with a caption teasing “new music… or something,” fueling excitement among longtime fans eager to hear how her sound has evolved. In addition, she created an official music-related account, Hilary Duff HQ, which features a link to her website where fans can sign up for future updates.

Hilary Duff’s career as a recording artist stretches back to the early 2000s, when she transitioned from Disney Channel stardom to pop success. Albums like Metamorphosis (2003) and Hilary Duff (2004) helped define the teen-pop wave of the era, producing hits such as “Come Clean,” “So Yesterday,” and “Fly.” While details remain under wraps, the combination of new music and a behind-the-scenes documentary suggests a full-scale reintroduction.
