Olivia Rodrigo’s biggest promotional weekend of 2026 officially begins tonight. Before pulling double duty on Saturday Night Live on May 2, Rodrigo will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as the episode’s primary interview guest, marking her first major late-night stop of the You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love era.
Just hours after announcing The Unraveled Tour—a 65-date global arena run that begins September 25 in Hartford, Connecticut—Rodrigo is stepping into one of television’s most visible promotional platforms. Airing tonight, May 1, at 11:35 p.m. ET / 10:35 p.m. CT on NBC, the Fallon appearance is expected to focus heavily on her rapidly expanding third album campaign.
Fans should expect several major talking points. Foremost is The Unraveled Tour itself, Rodrigo’s largest live undertaking to date, which will extend across North America and Europe with major stops in London, Paris, Milan, and Barcelona. Following the $200 million success of the GUTS World Tour, tonight’s interview could offer the first substantial details about this new chapter.
New music will almost certainly dominate the conversation as well. Rodrigo’s lead single “Drop Dead,” released April 17, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first artist in chart history whose lead singles from their first three studio albums all opened atop the chart. With You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love arriving June 12, Fallon provides an ideal stage to discuss the creative process behind the record.
Notably, tonight’s Tonight Show booking is interview-only. Rodrigo has reserved her next televised live performance for Saturday Night Live on May 2, where she will serve as both host and musical guest.
