JISOO has confirmed that BLACKPINK’s new song will be released next month, speaking directly to fans following the group’s final DEADLINE World Tour concert. The comment came after the January 26 show at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, marking the official close of BLACKPINK’s six-month global tour.
After the concert, JISOO briefly interacted with fans and shared the update in a candid moment. “BLACKPINK’s new song will be out next month. Please show lots of love and support! Let’s go!” she said, prompting immediate excitement among BLINKs both at the venue and online. The remark aligns with previous confirmations from YG Entertainment regarding the group’s upcoming release schedule.
The announcement follows the conclusion of the DEADLINE World Tour, which wrapped after 33 shows across Asia, Europe, and North America. The tour marked BLACKPINK’s first full-scale stadium run since the Born Pink World Tour and served as a major reunion moment after a period dominated by individual projects. The final night in Hong Kong carried a reflective tone, with all four members visibly emotional as they addressed the crowd.
ROSÉ, in particular, spoke openly about the weight of the moment during her closing speech. “Tonight is a celebration of this whole journey we’ve put on for the past six months, and if anything, for the past almost like 10 years,” she told fans. She later added that the group would “be missing this atmosphere for a while.”
The DEADLINE Tour began on July 5, 2025, with two shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, where BLACKPINK premiered their comeback single “Jump.” The song went on to debut at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts and later won Best Digital Song at the 40th Golden Disc Awards. The tour also visited major venues including SoFi Stadium, Soldier Field, Rogers Stadium, and Tokyo Dome.
BLACKPINK are now preparing for the release of their new mini album, Deadline, scheduled for February 27. YG Entertainment has confirmed that the project was completed late last year, with music video filming taking place between October and November. As of now, Deadline ranks among the most pre-saved albums on Spotify, reflecting sustained anticipation for the group’s next chapter.
JISOO is simultaneously balancing preparations for her next solo album alongside BLACKPINK’s comeback. In a previous interview, she described this phase as creatively intense, noting that she feels “solely within music” while working on both projects.
