Karol G and Tainy have officially claimed the top spot in this week’s new-music poll, with fans overwhelmingly naming “Única” the best release of the week. The track earned 56% of the vote on our weekly X poll, easily surpassing new drops from Tate McRae, Stray Kids, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Released on November 20 via NEON16/Republic Records, “Única” marks the long-anticipated first collaboration between Puerto Rican super-producer Tainy and Colombian global pop powerhouse Karol G. For Karol G, the song arrives hot on the heels of her recent fifth album Tropicoqueta, which featured the global hits “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” and “Latina Foreva.”

The poll also featured several major releases across the pop landscape. Leigh-Anne Pinnock secured 26% with “Friends,” her vibrant collaboration with producer Rvssian. The single serves as the final release before her debut solo album My Ego Told Me To, arriving February 20, 2026.

Tate McRae’s So Close to What??? (Deluxe) collected 12% of the vote. The expanded edition of her chart-topping third album adds four new tracks, including the fan-favorite “ANYTHING BUT LOVE.” The original album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and the deluxe version continues that momentum, closing out a milestone year for the Canadian superstar.

Rounding out the poll, Stray Kids followed with 6% for Do It, their surprise special release and the first installment in the group’s new SKZ IT TAPE series. Dropping on November 21, the five-track EP arrives just months after KARMA, which extended their record-breaking streak of No. 1 Billboard 200 debuts.
