It’s time to refresh your playlist with some exciting new releases!
This week brings a wave of major new music releases across pop and K-pop. Tate McRae leads the pack with So Close to What??? (Deluxe), an expanded edition of her chart-topping third studio album So Close to What. The original project, released earlier this year via RCA Records, became a defining breakthrough for McRae, earning her first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Announced on November 9, just days after she wrapped the Miss Possessive Tour, the deluxe edition arrives November 21 with five brand-new songs, bringing the total to 21 tracks. Notably, McRae continues her close collaborations with Ryan Tedder, and Blake Slatkin. The deluxe edition includes “Tit For Tat” and the new single “Nobody’s Girl.”
On the K-pop front, Stray Kids unleash Do It, a high-energy special EP released under their “SKZ IT TAPE” series. Teased on October 19, the five-track project officially drops tonight via JYP Entertainment. The EP features dual title tracks—“Do It” and “DIVINE.”
Rounding out the week’s marquee releases is Wicked: For Good – The Soundtrack, the digital companion to Part Two of the blockbuster Wicked film adaptation. Starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, the soundtrack premieres tonight ahead of the movie’s 2026 theatrical release. Directed by Jon M. Chu and featuring a cast that includes Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, and cameo appearances from Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum, the project deepens the world of the musical with reimagined arrangements and 12 new recordings.
