Katy Perry is heading back to the Formula 1 stage. The pop superstar has been confirmed as the headliner for the post-race concert at the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2026, marking a key addition to the event’s 10th anniversary celebrations.

Scheduled for Friday, September 25, Perry will perform on the iconic Baku City Circuit. Organizers announced the booking on May 6, positioning her set as a central highlight alongside the race weekend’s entertainment lineup. Calvin Harris is set to open festivities on Thursday, September 24.

The booking extends Perry’s long-running relationship with Formula 1 events. She previously performed at the Singapore Grand Prix in 2012 and delivered a headline set at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, closing the season with a stadium-scale production. This upcoming appearance marks her first-ever performance in Azerbaijan, adding a new territory to her global touring footprint.

Momentum around Perry has been building across multiple fronts. On May 4, she returned to the Met Gala 2026 for the first time since 2022, aligning with the “Costume Art” theme. Her look—a custom Stella McCartney strapless white gown crafted from repurposed satin—leaned into sustainability, while a mirrored fencing-style mask introduced a conceptual edge that sparked immediate online debate.
