Lana Del Rey has confirmed that her forthcoming tenth studio album remains titled Stove. In a video message shared with fans, the singer closed with a simple promise: “Stove coming soon!”
The update arrives just hours after Del Rey released her new single, “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” on February 17, followed by its accompanying music video on February 18. The track marks the third preview of the upcoming record.
Speaking directly to fans in the video, Del Rey reflected on her unconventional release strategy. While most artists compete for attention on “New Music Friday,” she explained that choosing a different day allows space. “It’s really fun to have your own time,” she said, noting how easy it is to “get lost in the sauce” amid the crowded Friday schedule.
The timing of the single carried personal symbolism. Del Rey described waking up to a vivid pink and red sky on the day of a solar eclipse. It was also Mardi Gras season and, as she referenced, the start of the “year of the fire horse.” The imagery felt aligned with renewal. “Everybody wants a fresh start,” she observed.
“White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” follows earlier 2025 singles “Henry, Come On” and “Bluebird.” The new track was co-written with her husband, Jeremy, and produced by frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff.
Del Rey previously confirmed that Stove will be released via Interscope Records and Polydor Records. While an official release date has not yet been announced, she acknowledged that vinyl production timelines have delayed the album by several months.
