Leigh-Anne Pinnock has confirmed that she and her former Little Mix bandmates have reconnected with Jesy Nelson, offering public support during a difficult period in Nelson’s personal life.
Speaking to Heart while promoting her newly released debut album, Leigh-Anne revealed that the group reached out after learning about complications surrounding Nelson’s twins. “We reached out to her when we heard what was happening with her twins, it’s devastating,” she said. “I think she’s really brave for what she’s doing… just supporting each other has always been so important to us. We were together for so long, we are sisters, and I think that relationship is really important to us.”
Her comments mark a notable moment of unity following years of public speculation about tensions within the group. Nelson departed Little Mix in December 2020, citing mental health reasons. The remaining members — Leigh-Anne, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards — continued as a trio before announcing an indefinite hiatus in December 2021. The decision followed the completion of their Confetti Tour in 2022 and the release of Between Us, a greatest hits collection that included new material.
Little Mix, formed in 2011 on The X Factor, made history as the first group to win the competition. Over the next decade, they became one of Britain’s most successful girl groups, building a global fanbase and delivering multiple chart-topping singles.
Now, each member is firmly in her solo era. Leigh-Anne’s debut album, My Ego Told Me To, arrived on February 20, 2026 via Virgin Music Group. The project was introduced by the singles “Been a Minute,” “Burning Up,” “Dead and Gone,” and “Most Wanted.” Her bandmates have followed similar paths. Jade recently unveiled her debut album That’s Showbiz Baby!, while Perrie introduced her self-titled solo project, Perrie.
