Last week, she posted another teaser, this time hinting more directly at MC16. The clip showed a montage of past interviews in which she discussed the making of her long-anticipated sixteenth album, accompanied by a caption that read “Soon!”—sparking fan excitement over an imminent announcement. On July 20, she added to the speculation with another video montage, this time showing all the cover artworks from her fifteen previous albums, ending with a tease of the MC16 cover. On July 21, she officially revealed the album’s title, release date, and artwork. The teaser video for Here For It All features Mariah in a striking black outfit, walking confidently—consistent with her iconic image of glamour and empowerment.
As mentioned, Here For It All is due out on September 26—and that date is no coincidence. It marks the 30th anniversary of her Daydream album, originally released on September 26, 1995. The strategic timing may be designed to tap into nostalgia and honor the cultural legacy of Daydream, a commercial and critical success that sold over 20 million copies worldwide and delivered timeless hits like “Fantasy” and “One Sweet Day.”
Mariah has yet to reveal the full tracklist, but it’s confirmed that “Type Dangerous” serves as the album’s lead single. In total, Here For It All will feature 11 tracks.
