A milestone week unfolds on the UK Albums Chart as Mumford & Sons, Leigh-Anne and Hilary Duff all debut inside the Top 5.
Mumford & Sons secure the headline. Prizefighter, the trio’s sixth studio album, opens at No. 1, delivering their fourth Official No. 1 record — and their second in under a year. Beyond the band’s own achievement, the release carries broader significance. Prizefighter becomes the 1,400th Official No. 1 album in UK chart history, arriving in the same year the Official Albums Chart marks its 70th anniversary.
The new chart-topper joins Babel (2012), Wilder Mind (2015) and Rushmere (2025) in the band’s collection of UK No. 1 albums.
At No. 3, Leigh-Anne earns her first solo Top 5 album with My Ego Told Me To. The project becomes her eighth UK Top 10 entry overall, following seven achieved as a member of Little Mix. The result also completes a notable symmetry: all three former Little Mix members have now reached the same peak with their respective debut solo releases. JADE’s THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! and Perrie’s self-titled Perrie both debuted at No. 3 last year.
Hilary Duff rounds out the Top 5 with luck… or something, debuting at No. 5 and marking a career-best UK chart peak. The placement surpasses her previous entries, including Metamorphosis (69), Most Wanted (31), Dignity (25) and Breathe In. Breathe Out. (91).
Meanwhile, on the Singles Chart, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean remain at No. 1 for a second consecutive week with “Rein Me In.”
