Chris Brown has appeared to respond after Zara Larsson publicly stated she has him blocked on Spotify due to his history of abuse allegations.

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Larsson was asked to name an artist she would never include on her playlists. Her answer was direct. “There’s so many artists I have blocked on Spotify, and all of them are like abusers. You certainly wouldn’t find a Chris Brown song. Bye!” she said.

Hours later, Brown shared a brief message on his Instagram Stories: “Walk in yo peace… let them hate. Love them anyway.” He did not mention Larsson by name, but the timing led many online to interpret the post as a response.

Larsson’s remarks reference Brown’s well-documented legal history. In 2009, he pleaded guilty to felony assault after attacking then-girlfriend Rihanna. The case resulted in probation and community service. In the years since, Brown has faced additional allegations and legal disputes, though not all have led to convictions. The 2009 incident remains a defining moment in public discussions about his career.

This is not the first time Larsson has addressed the topic. In 2016, she publicly criticized Brown on social media, writing, “Chris Brown is TRAAASSHHHHH,” underscoring that her position is longstanding rather than reactive.
