Roddy Ricch’s long-awaited third studio album, The Navy Album, has been delayed once again. The Grammy-winning rapper confirmed that the project will now arrive on December 5, marking yet another shift in a release cycle that has stretched for more than a year.
Originally scheduled for December 6, 2024, The Navy Album has faced a series of postponements. During his Coachella 2025 appearance, Ricch told Complex that the record was “coming soon,” reigniting hope among fans. However, the project was later moved to February 21, then April 25, before being pushed again to July 18. Another three-month delay shifted it to October 24, and now, the final release date stands just over a year after its first announcement.

While Roddy has not publicly explained the latest delay, the rollout suggests that he’s taking his time to ensure the album meets his creative vision. The Navy Album will be released via Atlantic Records and Bird Vision Entertainment, with production from Terrace Martin, Turbo, Omar Grand, and Evrgrn, among others.
The project has been previewed through two singles — “Survivor’s Remorse” and “Lonely Road.” The former, released in May 2024, featured a striking music video filled with religious symbolism, including scenes of the rapper constructing a home for his child’s mother. The latter, “Lonely Road,” arrived in December 2024, featuring a smooth saxophone performance from Terrace Martin and a cinematic visual of Ricch driving through Los Angeles beneath glowing angelic figures.
Roddy’s last full-length release, Live Life Fast (2021), debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Since then, he has maintained a relatively low profile, releasing occasional singles and features while refining his next chapter.
