Sabrina Carpenter has unveiled a new collector’s edition vinyl of Short n’ Sweet to celebrate the album’s second anniversary. Priced at $79.99, the new physical release arrives one day after Sabrina teased fans with a cryptic promise that “something sweet” was coming.
Team Sabrina, Carpenter’s official fan page, confirmed the release on August 24, sharing the announcement alongside a direct link to the singer’s online store. “not being dramatic, the new collector’s edition Short n’ Sweet vinyl is available now on sab’s website,” the account wrote, sending fans directly to the new edition.
The collector’s release marks another return to the era that fundamentally changed Sabrina Carpenter’s career. Short n’ Sweet was originally released on August 23, 2024, through Island Records, becoming her sixth studio album and the project that pushed her from rising pop star to one of the biggest names in mainstream music.
Its success was powered by “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” with both singles reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. “Please Please Please” also became Carpenter’s first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1, while “Taste” followed with a No. 2 peak in the United States and a chart-topping run in the United Kingdom.
Short n’ Sweet went on to top album charts in 18 countries and earn multi-platinum certifications in 10 nations. The album received six nominations at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, where Carpenter won Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso.”
The project also launched Sabrina Carpenter’s first arena tour in September 2024, extending the album’s reach well beyond its initial release. By the time she followed it with Man’s Best Friend on August 29, 2025, Carpenter had already established Short n’ Sweet as the defining breakthrough of her career.
The new vinyl arrives after Sabrina Carpenter marked the album’s anniversary with a personal message to fans. In an email sent on August 23, she described Short n’ Sweet as “an album that completely changed my life,” adding that she felt like she had “blinked” as two years had passed.
Sabrina Carpenter also thanked listeners for turning the record from something that “once was mine” into something that became “ours.” Her message concluded with the tease, “something sweet drops tomorrow, see ya then!” without revealing what she had planned.
