Shakira and Burna Boy continue to dominate Spotify as their official FIFA World Cup anthem, “Dai Dai,” holds onto the No. 1 spot on the Weekly Global Songs chart for a second consecutive week. The track earned 30.5 million streams during the latest tracking period, extending its reign as the tournament’s biggest musical success.
Since its release on May 15, “Dai Dai” has now surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify, becoming one of the most successful FIFA World Cup anthems in streaming history. The song has remained at the center of the tournament since Shakira and Burna Boy performed it during the opening ceremony on June 11, while another high-profile performance at the first-ever FIFA World Cup halftime show further expanded its global reach.
The anthem’s continued momentum reflects how closely music and football have been intertwined throughout the 2026 tournament. Spotify recently revealed that “Dai Dai” has become the most-streamed official FIFA World Cup anthem during the tournament itself, outperforming previous songs associated with the competition. The platform also reported record-breaking engagement with football-themed playlists and anthem streams during this year’s event.
“Dai Dai” is not the only song benefiting from World Cup fever. Oasis’ “Wonderwall” climbs another 22 places to a new peak of No. 4 on the Weekly Global Songs chart after becoming an unofficial anthem for England supporters. Fans repeatedly sang the Britpop classic following each victory during England’s run, helping push the song to No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Global Songs chart earlier this month.
Elsewhere inside the global top 10, Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” returns to No. 2, continuing the strong performance of her upcoming album campaign. Temper City also reaches a new milestone, with “Self Aware” climbing to No. 9, marking the track’s highest position to date.
Outside of those movements, the weekly ranking remains relatively stable. The chart’s only new entry comes from Bonnie Tyler, whose enduring hit “Total Eclipse of the Heart” returns following renewed interest after the legendary singer’s recent passing.
