Taylor Swift’s record-breaking streak shows no signs of slowing down. The pop superstar has officially set a new Spotify record with her “The Fate of Ophelia,” which has become the most streamed song in a single week in Spotify history, surpassing Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers.”
According to Spotify’s updated chart data, “The Fate of Ophelia” earned over 117 million streams in just six days, narrowly topping “Flowers” (115.1 million). The song also spent six consecutive days at No. 1 on the Daily Global Spotify Chart, drawing more than 16 million plays per day.

The track, lifted from her twelfth studio album The Life of a Showgirl, has been a juggernaut since its release on October 3. It debuted with 30.9 million single-day streams, marking the biggest debut in Spotify history and quickly became the fastest song ever to reach 100 million streams, achieving the milestone in just five days.
This latest milestone follows The Life of a Showgirl’s extraordinary chart performance. The album became the first in Spotify history to occupy the entire Top 10 of the global chart for five consecutive days, a feat unmatched by any artist to date. It’s also projected to debut atop the Billboard 200 with over 4 million equivalent album units — a figure that would break the all-time U.S. record for the biggest first-week sales, previously held by Adele’s 25.
In just a few days, The Life of a Showgirl sold more than 3 million copies, according to Billboard and Luminate, with 2.7 million of those sales coming within the first 24 hours. The album’s vinyl edition alone moved 1.2 million copies, breaking Swift’s own previous record set by The Tortured Poets Department in 2024.
