Taylor Swift continues to set records—this time on Spotify. Her 2022 album Midnights has officially surpassed 11 billion streams, making it her second album to reach that milestone, following Lover, which boasts nearly 13 billion streams.

With this achievement, Taylor becomes only the second female artist in Spotify history to have multiple albums cross the 11-billion stream mark. The only other artist to do so? Dua Lipa, whose albums Future Nostalgia and Dua Lipa have each earned over 13.9 billion streams.

Midnights was already one of the most commercially successful albums of the decade. Released in October 2022, it broke multiple records in its first week and delivered hits like “Anti-Hero,” “Lavender Haze,” and “Bejeweled.” Upon release, Midnights logged the biggest single-day and single-week streams for any album on Spotify. Commercially, it topped numerous charts, including the Billboard 200, and was the best-selling album of 2022—and the second-best-selling of 2023.

The album’s lead single, “Anti-Hero,” is one of Taylor’s most acclaimed songs. Nearly three years later, the track has amassed over 1.8 billion streams on Spotify, placing just behind two of Taylor’s most defining hits: “Blank Space” (2.1B) and “Cruel Summer” (2.9B).

As of July 2025, Dua Lipa remains the only other female artist with two albums surpassing 11 billion streams. Her self-titled debut Dua Lipa and its follow-up Future Nostalgia have both surpassed 13.9 billion streams and are nearing the 14-billion mark—a milestone only Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR has crossed, with an impressive 15 billion plays since its release.
