Taylor Swift’s “Patient Zero” has secured a third consecutive week at No. 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart, extending the song’s dominant run and cementing her position as the only artist to score three UK chart-topping singles in 2026.

The pop track holds off competition from Jamie Miller’s “Babydoll,” which rises to No. 2, and Ashe’s “Stop The Wedding!,” which lands at No. 3.

“Patient Zero” initially reached No. 1 alongside the release of The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, the expanded edition that also returned Swift’s album to the top of the UK Official Albums Chart. The double chart victory came exactly one year after the original album’s October 3, 2025 release.

The single is Taylor Swift’s eighth UK No. 1 and her third chart-topper of 2026, following “Opalite” and “I Knew It, I Knew You,” her contribution to the Toy Story 5 soundtrack. The achievement marked the first calendar year in which she had scored three UK No. 1 singles, setting her apart from every other artist on the chart this year.

The album’s success builds on its record-setting debut in October 2025, when it opened with 423,000 chart units and became Swift’s 14th UK No. 1 album. That milestone made her the female artist with the most chart-topping albums in Official Albums Chart history.
