Victoria Monét has canceled two dates on her Frequency Of Love Tour and postponed the start of the North American trek after encountering production challenges with outdoor venues. The Grammy-winning singer announced that her Raleigh, North Carolina, and New Orleans shows will no longer take place as planned, while her November 5 concert in Charlotte will move to an indoor venue to accommodate the show’s production requirements.

In a statement to fans, Monét apologized for the disruption and explained that the Raleigh and New Orleans cancellations stemmed from difficulties with the outdoor venues and the size of the New Orleans venue. “I’m extremely sorry to everyone who made plans to be there, and I was sooo ready to come see you!! Im really really sorry,” she wrote.

The changes also affect the tour’s opening night. Originally scheduled to begin October 27 in Raleigh, the Frequency Of Love Tour will now kick off October 31 in Houston, Texas. Victoria Monét addressed the revised plans directly, telling fans, “Houston, I’ll see you so soon for opening night!!”

Charlotte fans will still have the opportunity to attend the show, although the concert will take place at Ovens Auditorium on November 5. Monét said the move to an indoor venue will allow the production to be accommodated properly. Previously purchased tickets will either be transferred to the new date or refunded, giving ticket holders the choice to keep their plans or request their money back.

For fans in Raleigh, the singer has also introduced a discount to help offset the additional travel costs. Those willing to make the trip to Charlotte can use their Raleigh tickets to receive 50% off admission to the rescheduled show. The offer gives affected fans an alternative after the cancellation, though attending will require traveling to another city.

The announcement comes just weeks after Victoria Monét released Frequency Of Love, her sophomore studio album, on October 2 through Lovett Music in partnership with RCA Records. The project follows her Grammy-winning breakthrough and continues her work across contemporary R&B and pop. Its singles include “Let Me,” “Reach Out” and “Juicy,” while the album debuted and peaked at No. 49 on the Billboard 200.
