Zayn has teased another glimpse of his upcoming album with a new single preview shared directly from the recording studio. Posted on March 11 on TikTok, the short black-and-white clip captures the singer recording an unreleased track, offering fans a brief but atmospheric taste of what’s coming next from the project. “You’re so revealing,” he wrote.

The preview arrives just weeks after the release of “Die For Me,” the official lead single from Konnakol, due April 17.

The LP represents a deeply personal chapter for Zayn. The title references konnakol, a vocal percussion technique rooted in Indian classical music in which rhythmic syllables create complex patterns without traditional instruments. For the singer, the concept carries symbolic weight — a connection to cultural heritage and the instinctive nature of sound itself.

“Die For Me,” released February 6, introduced the era with a dramatic visual and lyrics centered on emotional devotion and vulnerability. The track quickly resonated with fans, who voted it InMusic’s Song of the Month for February.

During a recent appearance on Call Her Daddy hosted by Alex Cooper, Zayn offered rare insight into which songs from the upcoming project resonate with him the most. Three titles stood out: “Used to the Blues,” “Side Effects,” and “Sideways.”

Those tracks, he explained, represent the emotional core of the album and reflect how his songwriting has evolved across more than a decade in the public eye.

Shortly after the album’s release, the 33-year-old singer will embark on The Konnakol Tour, a 31-date international trek produced by Live Nation.

The tour begins May 12 at the AO Arena in Manchester before traveling across the United Kingdom, North America, Mexico, and South America. Stops include major markets such as London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and San Francisco.
