Olivia Dean closes out the chart year on a historic high, securing a chart double for the third consecutive week as the final ARIA Charts for 2026 are released. Her sophomore album The Art of Loving remains steady at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, marking its fourth nonconsecutive week at the summit. At the same time, her breakout single “Man I Need” continues its dominant run atop the ARIA Singles Chart, extending its reign to a sixth straight week.

The Art of Loving finishes the year as one of Australia’s longest-leading albums. Overall, 27 albums reached No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart in 2026, with Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet and Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl emerging as the most enduring leaders, each spending seven weeks at the top.

On this week’s Singles Chart, the entire top five remains unchanged. Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” holds at No. 2, “Golden” from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack stays at No. 3, while Alex Warren’sOrdinary” (No. 4) and Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” (No. 5) round out the top five.

Throughout 2026, the Singles Chart was defined by long-running hits rather than frequent turnover. Just nine songs reached No. 1 across the entire year. Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” led the way with an impressive 17-week reign, followed closely by “Golden” from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, which spent 10 weeks at the summit.
